I agree....and as a librarian, I can say that political books are not moving especially well either, at least in Brooklyn. I think people have just had enough politics every where else in this, the longest presidential campaign in history!
Books? There are no books that could educate a person on this campaign so I gotta say no. I took comparative politics in college and this ain't nuttin like anything I learned. I think there will be a movie about it soon after someone wins, a comic opera like Tommy or Jesus Christ Superstar. I hate soap operas, but this campaign is more like a soap than reality. I wish one candidate would actually tell us HOW he's gonna "change" government. Let's see 1 pres VS 535 congresmen = big argument, no change. I'm supposed to work at my local polling place, don't expect to see a lot of people there as Ohio has made absentee balloting open to all, no excuse neccessary. i think that this will take us back to the dead voting (ballot box stuffing) I'm for go to the polls, show your ID and vote. Makes me wonder how many ilegals will be filing absentee ballots.
I'm wondering why John didn't pick me to run with him. After all I'm a Navy Vietnam vet with more foreign policy experience than Sarah (who?), well it may have been with hookers, but at least i've been to an actual combat zone and peed in a forest in Germany on a Nato cruise with the Marines. That was funny....watching 4 or 5 different countries fight a fake battle. And don't say hookers disqualifies me, remember Blo-job Billie. What's good for the Jackass is good for the Elephant. LOL Hell I couldn't take the job, I voted for Barry Goldwater, I'd nuke the mid-east back to the stone age and send guys in in radiation suits to get the oil out. LOL
