I found an unremarkable (mediocre) photo of my yard from last summer. There were a couple of lilies blooming in the foreground so I cropped one of them and then used Picasa to soft focus the leaves. I had never played with that feature before (I didn't even know I had it), so it was interesting for me to see the resulting image. Garooch is allowing me to join the group now that I did that myself (he didn't think I was good enough before). LOL
I was playing around on my Adobe Photoshop software, and funny thing, Dasia - I also took a photo I had of a LILY and ... I was just amazed at how many different things I could do with it! Here are just a few:
No, I didn't draw around the image - the program did everything. I like the way you did your branch images too, I would not have known you rotated the photo!
great photo - amazing that you changed the entire background - and it looks so natural, I'd never guess! I didn't know that paintshop had all those features either, have to check it out! ....ohoh, I think I'm going to become addicted! LOL
At the suggestion of Kunzang, I changed this into a black and white image (it was originally color and is on my page). I think she was right and it looks better in black and white. What do you think? I also sharpened the focus around the dancer.
