It cleans without being abrasive...I keep some in a plastic container near my kitchen sink as it also freshens up the garbage disposal if you throw some down and let it sit for awhile and then run it. I do love this new group as everyone one can use all these helpful hints!

Also ,when celery loses it's crispness,place it in a pan of cold water along with a sliced raw potato. Let it stand for awhile and it will be crunchy again..
