Treatment For Chigger Bites
My life revolves around outdoor pursuits, so I have spent a lifetime fighting the effects of chiggers.
Beyond bug repellent with a high DEET content, removing your clothing and taking a long, hot shower as soon as you get back helps.
Once you get a bite, the best thing I've ever used is ChiggerRid. It's fairly expensive, usually only is available in drug stores and comes in a small bottle with a plastic applicator.
Believe me, I've tried everything. This is the only thing that works.

Yes, Classy, I've tried everything. Skin-So-Soft smells much better and is much better for your skin, but it is only mildly effective as a bug repellet, and at that only for misquitoes. Chiggers love soft skin. You can't beat DEET.
