Southern Expressions
Not having lived in the south, I was curious abut some southern expressions. I found a website accidentally that has some southern expressions.

I liked "every dog should have a few fleas" (No one is perfect).
I never heard the "lipstick on a pig" expression until the recent fiasco, but apparently it's been around a while. I do remember the one about "making a silk purse out of a sow's ear", though.
Any southern belles out there with a favorite southern expression we yankees wouldn't know?
