so , let's talk of ghosts

Since I let the secret of my "little Man" visits come to light.......I will tell the other story.
We bought this house when my X retired from the Navy...nearly 25 years ago. It was built in the late 60's.....
no ghosts....no hauntings...nothing.
Around 10 years ago....out of the corner of my eye.........I saw "something". Looked like a fleeing person. It ran down the hall from the livingroom.....scared me slightly and I crept down the hall. NOTHING.
OK....months pass. I am again sitting , reading and see something. I don't move my head. Just peer to the right with eyes only. OH MY GOD...it was a boy about 12 years old with RED hair...I turned my head. HE WAS GONE. I was scared. I went down the hall carefully. NOTHING> told my then husband, he laughed. the last bedroom down the hall has always been cold. very cold in winter and cold in summer...even when no air was on. and nothing seems to keep it warm in winter. My oldest son had that room (he is in Wisconsin now)
I called him. He then told me that "philip" lived in that room with him and he never told me about "philip". Wow, was I blown away. How could a kid never tell...never be frightened. My son said that "philip" had appeared right after we bought the house. . . and that "philip" would cover my son up when he kicked covers...that"philip" would turn off and on lights and "philip" would "hum" my son to sleep when my son was anxious about something.
Well, when I next saw "Philip"....I softly said something to the effect " is that you philip"? and he did not run down the hall. he stood there....just a kid, not an expression of any kind...just that RED hair. Never knew a ghost could be seen in color...shoot , never knew we had one. My son said maybe he became lonely ,since no one has used that room in years for sleeping...I paint in there and iron etc. it is a guest room now.
Sometimes when I misplace something...I say out loud..."OK PHILIP...help me find the special butter knife I like..." and soon it is there...on the counter, or in the drawer where it had not been.
Could be I over looked.......don't think so.
anyway , I have a friendly ghost
Next time I will tell you about "Auras"....now I am letting it all hang out !!!!!! OH DEAR...you will all think I am looney toons.
Again...am to old to worry about such things now.
