So...when we "see" a ghost. Are we seeing vapor? (of a soul?) are we seeing into another dimension? I wonder when I see "Philip" (my resident ghost) - is he a figure lapping over into my dimension ... from another? What are your thoughts?
I talk....he never does. But, I will say things like...hey philip, how ya doin? He smiles...or nods...or disappears. OR - I say, have you been messing with the thermostat again...he smiles or grins...I take that as a "yes"...or he just disappears. When I am hunting something , I say out lout....ok, Philip...did you hide this...or ...Philip, can you help me find this......and sometimes, it reappears in a place I have looked.
But there is not "real" communication. And there is no entire body of Philip...just kind of from the waiste up...with the insinuation of the rest of the body. I don't see him "walking"...just kind of disappear or the illusion of him running down the hall.
Hard to describe actually.
No silly questions............this is all a mystry to me.....I don't know his name.....I named him......he reminded me of a kid I knew. Oh, by the way, I can see that he has red hair.....and brown eyes. There is color here.
Maybe there is a little Pamula in Betty? At least when I can get her into the "spirit" of it.
A hauntin' I will go. A hauntin' I will go. Hi ho, the merrry O, a Bettyin' I will go.
Well, thanks Branflake, assuming it was my mind you don't seem to mind.
Like Garooch, I've had no personal experience with worldly ghosts, even though I did have a very profound NDE. I certainly don't discount the possibility of them. Maybe they're afraid of me. Hee, hee, hee.
Anyway, if there are ghosts ghosting around, I believe your attitude toward them is best. Sounds like you and your spook get along pretty well.
What's the difference between a ghost and a guardian angel? Maybe it's just a difference in perception.
By the way, to be candid, which most often get me canned instead of canonized, I'm usually pretty skeptical of ghost stories and believe most of them are vivid hallucinations that result from the power of suggestion and a fearful imagination, but stories like Branflake's seem pretty credible.
