My neighbors son, age 7, talks to people who his mother can't see. She thinks he's making it up. I suggested we find out the history of the house. I just found out about this situation this past week. I am going to try to find out more info. His mom thinks he dreamed it. She asked him who he was talking to and he said a man. She thought it was the tv.
Any suggestions on how to handle this situation?
They had psychic children on Larry King too. I'm intuitive myself at times, but children are more open to this and their abilities are common. As adults, we ignore and are afraid to talk about these things. It's also possible he has an imaginary friend which is common with kids. The third possibility is that he has hallucinations or is manic. They are finding kids can be bipolar or even schizophrenic. If they take him to psychiatrist, he may prescribe medication which I personally feel is overprescribed for kids now.
I talked to 'lil man' about the voices. He said he talks to a man. He just says 'fight fight' He also says he sees people running really fast.
Momma is to busy to deal w/situation right now. He's not being hurt so I feel it's ok. I told him if he didn't want them there to tell them "It's my house and I don't want you here. Go Away!"
I am glad to hear that this little guy has you to talk too. The history of the house is still something I feel should be looked into. How is this little guy otherwise? How often does this man talk to him? Can he explain in any detail why the man says fight, fight? SOME adults chose to ignore this, and some are aware and do nothing, and others are aware and seek help. How long has this been going on, do you know?
My neighbor moved in just after Christmas. It's just recently I found out about the voices. I don't talk to them every day, so it's an on-going fact finding adventure.
I've never done this type of search. I'm guessing I should see who owned the house before, find out when it was built and check the library for any articles in the newspaper about any incidents which made it print. Any feed-back to let me know I'm on the right track would be appreciated.
I have to go with the least expense as neither one of us has extra money for answers.
I hope you keep us posted. I am curious to know about 'little man" and why he hears these voices. Has the Mom taken this any more serious or does she claim it is just a phrase?
Plan B: make your fingers look like Chocolate Bunny Mama and her four kids. Then either quick-wash your hands or find someone you don't like to shake hands with. You're welcome.
