- I was born in Brooklyn, NY, on April 19, 1937. I'm a first generation American and grew up in Brooklyn. My grandparents and their two daughters (my mother and her sister) immigrated to the United States from Poland in the 1920's.
I have two daughters. My older daughter was born at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City in 1960 and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Ohio State University and earned her MBA from the University of Chicago. My younger daughter was born in Cleveland in 1964. She also graduated from Ohio State University and earned her MBA from the University of Southern California.
Both of my daughters and their familes now live near each other in Bergen County, New Jersey, and I have three wonderful grandchildren.
Their father and I were divorced in 1980 after 23 years of marriage.
I met my significant other in Cleveland in 1992, and we moved to South Florida when he retired in 1997. Despite the hot summers and occasional hurricanes, we love living in South Florida and plan to continue living here for the rest of our lives.
