i had been living in the house i was born in for the last 14 years. It was the scene of many crimes against me. Some were actual crimes (my brother molested me and my father tried to kill me) but most were just violations of my personhood and self-image. My son had been begging me for years to move. I have no legal training but it seems to me the current AIG mess reveals an informative resolution of a clash of values. All of the discussion about a contract to pay executives regardless of performance has never mentioned the interests of stock holders. Individuals who invest in companies do so for a return on their investment. When there are profits, they expect a return on their investment. Long Time Coming--a condensed sort of catch-up

Has been so long since I blogged here. Or visited here. I had a jewelry show right before Xmas and it did well. I was sick during Christmas. I was injured at work--a torn meniscus-left knee--and have been out of work for nearly 2 weeks. I go to see the orthopedist on Thursday--but my knee is still extremly swollen--My greatest activity level--sitting up--and then not more than 2 hours--even with it elevated.
